Greg must be one of the most travelled American musicians on the planet, a truly international star performer and, as you’d expect, a world-class saxophonist (alto, soprano and flute). He is a high-octane player with a masterful grasp of both swing and bebop, a ready smile, and the ability to immediately engage with his audiences. Backed by a superb rhythm section featuring Paul Jefferies on bass, Alex Steele - piano and Gaz Hughes on drums, the result is full-powered, hard-swinging music at its very best. Together they create an exhilarating blend of energy, sophistication and musical chemistry, whether accompanying outstanding singers and instrumentalists or taking centre stage in their own right. All have performed with Greg around the UK to much critical acclaim.Get there if you can...

We loved him so much we’ve asked him to get back to Witney and sing his favourite Christmas material. Marvin is really grabbing the attention now of both local jazz fans and the national jazz press and has most recently been nominated for 'best Jazz singer' in the prestigious 2026 'All-parliamentary Jazz Awards'. It’s not surprising, he’s a man with a mission and the vocal and musical talents to support it. A gorgeous rich, smooth baritone, jazz sensibilities in abundance and unashamedly a lover of the great swing jazz era, Marvin’s show should not be missed. We promise it’ll be a memorable way to kick off the Christmas period. On board in the rhythm section will be Tom Berge (piano), bassist Paul Jefferies and award winning drummer Rob Brian.

Jo Harrop often divides her time between London and New York singing Jazz and Blues at the highest level. She has a truly engaging voice and heartfelt delivery with lots of bluesy inflection. Guitarist and Ronnie Scotts star, Nigel Price is at the very top of the British jazz tree with numerous awards and accolades to his name - and it must be said, he is quite probably the hardest working jazz musician on the planet! We’re delighted this pairing has agreed to come and perform at the Jazz Club in Witney - what a way to start a new year of top quality jazz concerts in Witney! On stage with Jo & Nigel will be the whisper quiet, award winning northern based drummer Gaz Hughes and Paul Jefferies on double bass.
